The Kwinana Off Road Vehicle Area (ORVA) is
very small, but it's the only ORVA for the southern
The area is primarily sand with some limestone
rock around as well. Being small it can get very
busy and many of the tracks criss-cross each other
frequently, so care must be taken to avoid
collisions with other riders.
There is no boundary fences and little, if any,
signage to show where the area ends. If you
happen to stray out of the area and get caught by
the ranger or police, expect harsh treatment and
heavy fines. If in doubt as to where the area
finishes - err on the side of caution.
Like all of the other ORVA's, there is virtually no management of them and the tracks are all multi-directional, so be
careful on the blind corners. Being such a small area, single direction tracks and good signage would greatly
enhance safety at the Kwinana ORVA.
